Latest weather for the High Atlas mountains

Last Thursday finally brought a combination of lower temperatures and precipitation - in other words snow on south facing slopes above 2750m. On north facing aspects and sheltered valleys the snowline is around 2350m.

The coming week brings the freezing level back up above 3000m later this week causing some snowmelt and a regression in the snowline.
